INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 6 slices pork belly (thinly sliced)
Vegetables
- 9 shiso leaves
- 🧄 1–2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
Eggs
- 🥚 6 boiled quail eggs
Seasoning
- Chili powder, to taste
Sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
ÉTAPES
Cut shiso leaves in half lengthwise and thinly slice garlic, removing the sprouts.
Lay out pork belly slices, place 3 shiso leaves vertically on each slice, and top with garlic slices. Skewer the pork belly and separately skewer 3 quail eggs per stick.
Place skewers in a frying pan without oil. Cook over medium heat until both sides of the pork belly and quail eggs are browned. Add soy sauce and mirin, then simmer until glossy.
Serve on a plate and sprinkle chili powder to taste.
