INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 350g rice
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
Pork Belly
- 🥓 150g pork belly
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- Pinch of ginger powder
Toppings
- Appropriate amount of wasabi
ÉTAPES
Cook the rice in a rice cooker. Optionally, add 1 tsp olive oil for extra flavor.
Prepare the pork belly by mixing it with soy sauce, sugar, and ginger powder.
Pan-fry the pork belly on medium heat until fully cooked.
Turn off the heat and set the pork aside to keep warm.
Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt to prepare the sushi vinegar.
Combine the cooked rice with the sushi vinegar while it's still warm.
Shape the rice into bite-sized portions and add a small amount of wasabi on top.
Place the warm pork belly slices on top of the rice.
Serve and enjoy your pork belly sushi!
