INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🐖 200g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 2 pieces (500g) konjac
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Tear konjac into bite-sized pieces using a spoon. Boil water in a pot, add konjac, and cook for 2–3 minutes. Drain the water.
Cut pork belly into 2cm wide strips.
Mix all sauce ingredients (marked with ☆) in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add pork belly and stir-fry until the color changes.
Add konjac to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Pour in the sauce mixture and simmer until the liquid reduces to about 1/3.
Add chili powder and white sesame seeds. Mix well to combine.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
