INGRÉDIENTS
Staple
- 🍚 1 bowl (200g) cooked rice
- 1 sheet roasted seaweed
Protein
- 1 slice spam
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Condiments
- 1/2 stick (25g) mentaiko
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp salad oil
ÉTAPES
Remove the thin skin from the mentaiko and place the contents in a bowl. Add mayonnaise and mix to make mentaiko mayo.
In a frying pan, cook the spam over medium heat until browned and remove.
Heat salad oil in the same frying pan over medium heat. Pour in the beaten egg and shape it into a square the same size as the spam. Flip and cook until done, then remove.
On a sheet of plastic wrap, place the roasted seaweed. Layer half the rice, spam, egg, mentaiko mayo, and the remaining rice in the center. Wrap with seaweed and plastic wrap, let it sit to settle, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
