INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 chicken thigh (250g)
- 🥔 6 baby potatoes (300g)
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Thin coating of flour
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce (3x)
Garnish
- 🧈 5g salted butter
- 🧅 Pinch of chopped green onion
ÉTAPES
Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Soak in water, drain, and microwave in a heatproof container for 5–7 minutes at 600W until tender. Drain thoroughly.
Trim excess fat from chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Lightly coat with flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook until browned. Flip and cover with a lid, cooking on low heat for 3 minutes until fully cooked.
Push chicken to the side of the pan and add potatoes. Cook over medium heat until browned. Remove excess oil with a paper towel, then add seasoning ingredients and simmer until glossy.
Plate the dish, top with butter, and sprinkle chopped green onions.
