INGRÉDIENTS
Noodles
- 2 servings cooked udon noodles
Meat
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥔 150g peeled potato
- 🧅 100g sliced onion
Liquids
- 💧 600ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 80ml concentrated soy sauce
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Peel and cut the potato into bite-sized pieces, then soak in water for 5 minutes and drain. Slice the onion into 1cm wedges.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
In a pot, add water, sake, and chicken. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then skim off any foam. Add the potato and onion, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the potato is tender.
Add soy sauce and grated ginger, stir well, then add the cooked udon noodles. Heat for 5 minutes until the noodles are warmed through.
