- 🍖 200g ground beef
Vegetables
- 🎃 100g pumpkin
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
Breading
- 🌾 3 tbsp flour
- 🥚 2 beaten eggs
- 🍞 50g breadcrumbs
Cooking Oil
- 500g salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 🍞 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
ÉTAPES
Remove seeds and pulp from the pumpkin and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Mince the onion.
Place pumpkin and onion in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5–6 minutes. Mash with a fork and let cool.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, mashed pumpkin and onion, 1 beaten egg, and seasoning ingredients (salt, pepper, breadcrumbs) thoroughly.
Divide the mixture into 4 portions, shape them while removing air, and coat each with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in order.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 160°C, fry the coated patties for 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and crispy.
