- 🐟 1 can (180g) canned saba in water
Coating
- 3 tbsp potato starch
Cooking Oil
- 4 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp mirin
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
- 🥪 2 tsp mayonnaise
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
ÉTAPES
Drain the canned saba and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix grated ginger, mirin, soy sauce, mayonnaise, and salt to create the marinade.
Marinate the saba pieces in the seasoning mixture for 5 minutes.
Coat the marinated saba pieces evenly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the saba pieces for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the saba pieces and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
