INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets mackerel (160g)
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp salad oil
Miso Sauce
- 3 tbsp white miso
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
ÉTAPES
Sprinkle salt on both sides of the mackerel fillets and let sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry with kitchen paper.
Mix white miso, mirin, and sake in a bowl to prepare the miso sauce.
Place the mackerel in a tray and coat both sides with the miso sauce. Cover with thick kitchen paper and press gently. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for half a day.
Wipe off the miso sauce from the mackerel.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the mackerel skin-side down and cook on low-medium heat for about 3 minutes until browned. Flip, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for about 2 minutes until cooked through.
