INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 1 cup of soaked rice
- 💧 Water as needed
Protein
- 🐟 1 piece of fresh salmon (100g)
Vegetables
- 4 shiso leaves, thinly sliced
Seasonings
- 🌾 1/2 tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp dashi powder
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
ÉTAPES
Thinly slice the shiso leaves and set aside.
In the rice cooker, combine the soaked rice, seasonings (sake, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and salt), and water up to the 1-cup mark. Mix well and level the rice. Place the salmon piece on top.
Cook the rice as usual in the rice cooker. Once done, remove the salmon, discard the skin and bones, and flake the flesh. Return the salmon to the rice cooker.
Add the sliced shiso leaves and toasted sesame seeds to the rice. Gently mix everything together, breaking up the salmon into smaller pieces.
