- 🥓 3 strips pork belly
- 2 perilla leaves
- 🧄 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp ssamjang
- 🍚 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
Sauce Ingredients
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligo syrup
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 💧 1 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Slice perilla leaves into 1cm strips and garlic into thin slices.
In a bowl, mix cooked rice with salt, sesame seeds, and sesame oil.
Heat a pan and cook the pork belly until golden brown, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Add soy sauce, cooking wine, oligo syrup, and water to the pan with the pork belly. Simmer with garlic slices until the sauce thickens.
Shape the seasoned rice into sushi-sized portions.
Spread a small amount of ssamjang on each rice portion and place a piece of pork belly on top.
Wrap the pork belly with a strip of perilla leaf.
Top with a slice of cooked garlic to complete the dish.
