INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐖 600g pork belly
- 1 green chili
- 1 red chili
- 🧅 3 stalks spring onion
- a dash of sesame oil
- a dash of sesame seeds
Seasoning Ingredients
- 💧 100ml water
- 1.5 tbsp samjang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- a dash of black pepper
Pickled Ginger Ingredients
- 50g ginger
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
ÉTAPES
Thinly slice the ginger into strips.
Rinse the sliced ginger multiple times in water to remove bitterness.
Mix the ginger with sugar and vinegar to create pickled ginger.
Slice spring onions and chilies into thin pieces.
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Pan-fry the pork belly until golden and crispy.
Remove the pork belly from the pan and set aside. Add all seasoning ingredients to the pan.
Bring the seasoning mixture to a boil, then add the pork belly back into the pan and simmer.
Turn off the heat and mix in sesame oil and chilies.
Plate the dish and garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds.
Serve with pickled ginger on the side.
