INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 4 chicken tenderloins (200g)
- 🧀 2 slices of cheese
- 1 tbsp grain mustard
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Coating
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- Enough breadcrumbs for coating
Sauce
- 2 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
ÉTAPES
Cut the cheese slices into quarters.
Remove the tendon from the chicken tenderloins, make a cut in the center, and butterfly them open. Spread 1/4 tbsp of mustard and place two cheese slices inside. Close and season both sides with salt and pepper. Repeat for all tenderloins.
Coat the chicken in flour, then beaten egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 170°C (2cm depth) and fry the chicken until golden brown, flipping occasionally for 4–5 minutes.
Mix tonkatsu sauce and ketchup in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Serve the fried chicken with the sauce on the side.
