    • 2 tsp soy sauce

Place dried scallops in a bowl with plenty of water and soak overnight (about 8 hours). Remove scallops and shred them by hand. Reserve 350ml of the soaking liquid.

Chop the green onion into small pieces.

Add soaked rice, seasonings (mirin, salt, soy sauce), and reserved scallop soaking liquid into the rice cooker. Mix well and level the rice. Spread shredded scallops and chopped green onion evenly on top. Cook using the regular rice setting.

Once cooked, gently mix the rice and serve.
