- 🦐 6 whole shrimp with shells
- 🦪 200g clams with shells
Vegetables
- 🍅 1 tomato, about 150g
- 🥦 7–8 green asparagus spears
- 🧅 1 minced onion, about 180g
- 🧄 1 clove minced garlic
- 🍋 Lemon wedges, as needed
Grains
- 🍚 2 cups rice
Seasonings
- 1/2 tsp saffron
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Broth
- 2 tsp chicken broth powder
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
- 💧 2 1/2 cups water
ÉTAPES
Soak saffron in 2 tbsp hot water for 10 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pan and sauté minced onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add rice to the pan and stir until coated with oil.
Pour in the saffron water and broth mixture (water, chicken broth powder, and salt). Stir well.
Arrange shrimp, clams, tomato slices, and asparagus on top of the rice.
Cover the pan with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes to slightly crisp the top.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
