INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls (300g) cooked white rice
Seafood
- 30g shirasu (whitebait)
Herbs
- 4 shiso leaves, chopped
Condiments
- 1 1/2 tbsp concentrated mentuyu
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Seeds
- 🌰 1 tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
Seaweed
- 1/2 sheet roasted nori, cut into 4 pieces
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Chop the shiso leaves into small pieces and cut the roasted nori into 4 equal parts.
In a bowl, mix the cooked white rice, chopped shiso leaves, shirasu, toasted sesame seeds, mentuyu, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions.
Place one portion of rice mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape into a rice ball. Wrap each rice ball with a piece of roasted nori.
Heat 1/2 tbsp sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the rice balls and cook until golden brown on one side. Flip, add the remaining sesame oil, and cook until golden brown on the other side.
