Wrapper
- 8 dumpling wrappers
Meat
- 160g thinly sliced pork loin
Condiments
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil

- 8 shiso leaves

- 3 ume plums
ÉTAPES
Remove the pits from ume plums and chop them finely. Trim the stems from shiso leaves.
Cut the pork slices in half and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place one dumpling wrapper on a flat surface. Add one shiso leaf, 1/8 of the chopped ume plum, and two pieces of pork. Wet the top edge of the wrapper with water and roll tightly. Repeat for all 8 rolls.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook for 2 minutes until browned. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of water, cover, and steam-cook over low-medium heat for 4–5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat to evaporate excess water.
