Vegetable
- 150g daikon, sliced thinly
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Filling
- 🍤 150g peeled shrimp
- 1 piece hanpen (100g)
- 🧅 3 stalks green onion, chopped
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- A dash of pepper
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Peel and thinly slice the daikon into circular sheets.
Mix the filling ingredients: shrimp, hanpen, green onion, ginger, potato starch, salt, pepper, and dashi powder.
Place a small amount of filling onto each daikon slice and fold it into a dumpling shape.
Steam the dumplings for 10 minutes until the daikon is tender and the filling is cooked.
Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing sesame oil, soy sauce, mustard, and vinegar.
Serve the dumplings hot with the dipping sauce.
