Cut the daikon into 1.5cm slices, peel thickly, and halve each slice.

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat, place chicken skin-side down, and cook until browned. Flip and brown the other side, then add daikon and stir until coated with oil.

Add all seasoning ingredients (☆), mix, and bring to a boil. Cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat, add soft-boiled eggs, and let sit for 10 minutes.
