INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 150g daikon, cut into 1cm slices
- 250g konjac, torn into bite-sized pieces
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Condiments
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp ground white sesame
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 100ml water
ÉTAPES
Cut the daikon into 1cm slices and tear the konjac into bite-sized pieces using a spoon.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the konjac and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the daikon and stir briefly.
Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, dashi powder, and water) to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 5–6 minutes.
Add the miso and ground white sesame to the pot and simmer for an additional minute on low heat.
