INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 cleaned horse mackerels (300g)
Vegetables
- 1 piece of ginger, thinly sliced
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 100 ml water
ÉTAPES
Thinly slice the ginger.
Rinse the horse mackerels to remove blood and pat dry. Place them with the head to the left and make shallow cuts on the surface.
In a frying pan, combine the seasoning ingredients and ginger. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
Place the horse mackerels in the pan with the cut side up. Spoon the simmering sauce over the fish until the surface changes color.
Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Then, increase to medium heat and continue simmering for another 5 minutes, occasionally spooning the sauce over the fish.
