- 🥔 500g new potatoes
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water
ÉTAPES
Wash the new potatoes thoroughly with water, leaving the skin on.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the new potatoes and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they are lightly browned.
Add all the ☆ seasonings to the pot. Cover with a drop lid and a regular lid, then simmer over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
Remove the lids and continue cooking until the liquid reduces and thickens, coating the potatoes. Stir gently to avoid breaking the potatoes.
