INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 piece (20g) fried tofu
- 🎃 200g pumpkin, seeds and pulp removed
Seasonings
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 100cc water
ÉTAPES
Cut the pumpkin into bite-sized 3cm cubes, removing the hard skin if necessary.
Pat the fried tofu with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Cut it in half along the shorter side, then slice into 1cm-wide strips.
In a microwave-safe container, mix all the seasonings (sugar, salt, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water). Add the pumpkin and fried tofu, mixing gently to coat the tofu evenly.
Cover the container loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. Remove, stir gently to avoid breaking the pumpkin, and microwave again for 2 minutes.
