INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🎃 300g pumpkin, peeled and cut into chunks
- 125g konjac, sliced and twisted
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Remove seeds and tough skin from the pumpkin, then cut into bite-sized chunks. Slice the konjac into 1cm pieces and twist them.
Boil the konjac in a pot with enough water to cover it for 3 minutes, then drain.
In a frying pan, combine pumpkin, konjac, and seasonings. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 6–8 minutes until the pumpkin is tender. Remove the lid and cook until the liquid reduces by half.
