INGRÉDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦑 150g sliced squid
Vegetables
- 200g boiled bamboo shoots
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onions, as needed
ÉTAPES
Cut the bamboo shoots into quarters for the tips and 1cm slices for the base.
Heat the seasonings (☆) and grated ginger in a pot over medium heat. Once boiling, add the squid and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the color changes. Remove the squid.
Add the bamboo shoots to the pot. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Remove the lid and simmer on medium heat for 2–3 minutes to reduce the liquid.
Return the squid to the pot, mix well, and heat through. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
