- 1 sheet konnyaku
☆ Simmering Sauce
- 200cc dashi stock
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp light soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the konnyaku into slices about 8mm thick. Make a 3cm slit in the center of each slice, then twist one end through the slit to form a tazuna (braided) shape.
Place the twisted konnyaku in a pot with water. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium heat for about 3 minutes. Drain the water.
In the same pot, combine all ☆ ingredients and bring to a boil. Add the konnyaku, cover with a drop lid, and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
