Fish
- 🐟 2 cans (380g) canned mackerel in water
Vegetables
- 🥕 250g grated daikon
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Grate the daikon and lightly squeeze out excess water.
In a pot, combine all seasoning ingredients and bring to a boil. Add the canned mackerel along with its liquid, cover with a drop lid, and simmer on low heat for 3 minutes.
Remove the drop lid, add the grated daikon, and bring to a boil again. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve in a dish and garnish with chopped green onion.
