INGRÉDIENTS

- 4 cups glutinous rice
- 1 cup peeled chestnuts
- 20 dried jujubes
- 4 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp nuts or pine nuts
Seasonings
- 2.5 cups water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧂 a pinch of salt
ÉTAPES
Wash the glutinous rice and soak it in water for 1 hour.
Drain the soaked rice and place it in the rice cooker. Add all the seasonings as per the listed quantities.
Add toppings like nuts and chestnuts, then start the rice cooker. Use the 'nutritious rice' setting if available.
Once cooked, transfer the rice to a bowl and mix thoroughly with a spatula. Let it cool slightly.
Shape the rice into squares using a plastic wrap. Press to form neat shapes.
Once completely cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces while still wrapped in plastic.
Wrap each piece individually with plastic wrap and decorate with stickers for gifting.
