Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork belly
Egg
- 🥚 2 eggs, beaten
Vegetables
- 8 snap peas (60g), halved diagonally
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), cut into wedges
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 100cc water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Remove stems and strings from snap peas, then cut them diagonally in half. Slice the onion into 1cm wedges.
Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
In a frying pan, cook the pork until its color changes. Add onion and stir until coated with oil. Add the sauce ingredients, mix, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until the onion softens.
Add snap peas and stir briefly. Pour in beaten eggs, cover, and let sit until eggs reach your desired doneness.
