INGRÉDIENTS
Chicken
- 🍗 8 chicken drumsticks (480g)
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Garnish
- 🍋 1/4 lemon
Marinade
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🥛 50cc milk
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
Coating
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 2 tsp herb salt
- 1 tsp powdered cheese
ÉTAPES
Cut off the end of each drumstick, then make three cuts along the bone to separate the meat. Flip the meat inside out to form a tulip shape.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and massage them into the drumsticks. Let them sit for 10 minutes.
Combine the coating ingredients in a separate container.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C. Lightly coat the drumsticks with the prepared mixture and fry 4 at a time until lightly golden. Remove and repeat with the remaining drumsticks.
Increase the oil temperature to 180–190°C and fry the drumsticks again, 4 at a time, until crispy and golden brown (about 30 seconds). Repeat for the remaining drumsticks.
Serve on a plate with lemon wedges as garnish.
