- 🦑 2 cleaned squids
- Some green chili peppers
- Some red chili peppers
- 🧂 A pinch of coarse salt
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- A pinch of sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Rub the cleaned squid with coarse salt and rinse thoroughly under running water. Blanch the squid in boiling water until it turns white.
Slice the green and red chili peppers diagonally for preparation.
Combine all seasoning ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
Add the blanched squid and sliced chili peppers to the boiling sauce and simmer.
Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary. Add more oyster sauce if the dish lacks saltiness.
Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens and is almost absorbed. Sprinkle sesame seeds generously before serving.
