INGRÉDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥬 300g daikon, quartered
- 🧄 1/2 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 clove minced ginger
- 🧅 5 stalks green onion, sliced
Condiments
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sake
Oils
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Liquids
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Cut daikon into quarters and slice into 2cm pieces. Mince garlic and ginger. Slice green onions into 3cm diagonal pieces.
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook until browned on both sides.
Add garlic, ginger, and doubanjiang to the pan and sauté briefly. Add daikon and stir until coated with oil.
Pour in water, sake, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Uncover, add soy sauce, and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add green onions and cook briefly.
