INGRÉDIENTS
Seafood
- 🐙 150g boiled octopus
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Condiments
- 🍋 1 wedge of lemon
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Coating
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.
Place the octopus and ☆ ingredients (sake, soy sauce, doubanjiang, grated ginger) into a plastic bag and massage gently. Let it marinate for about 5 minutes.
Mix the ★ ingredients (flour and potato starch) in a bowl. Add the marinated octopus and coat evenly.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C (about 3cm deep). Fry the coated octopus for about 3 minutes, turning occasionally, until crispy.
Serve the fried octopus on a plate and garnish with a wedge of lemon.
