- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
Protein
- 🐟 3 fillets horse mackerel (240g)
Vegetable
- 🥬 1 bok choy (100g)
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
Garnish
- Pinch of shredded seaweed
ÉTAPES
Season horse mackerel fillets with salt and pepper, then coat lightly with flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the fillets until golden brown on both sides.
Mix sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and doubanjiang in a bowl to create the sauce.
Pour the sauce into the pan with the fillets and simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the fish.
Blanch bok choy in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain and chop.
Serve the cooked rice in bowls, top with the fish and sauce, and garnish with bok choy and shredded seaweed.
