Vegetables
- 🥔 10cm daikon (300g)
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil

- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar

ÉTAPES
Trim excess fat from the chicken thigh and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the daikon into quarters lengthwise, then slice into 1.5cm thick pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and arrange daikon pieces in the empty spaces. Sear until golden brown, then flip to sear the other side.
Add the seasoning mixture (water, sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, gochujang, garlic) and stir. Once boiling, cover and simmer on low heat for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the lid and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes to reduce the liquid. Plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
