INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 500g sundae (Korean blood sausage)
- 🧅 1 onion, sliced
- 5 perilla leaves, julienned
Optional Ingredients
- 1 handful of rice cakes
- 1/4 cabbage, chopped
- 🥕 1/2 carrot, julienned
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp red pepper powder
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp plum extract
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Slice the onion, julienne the carrot, and chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the sundae into bite-sized pieces.
Julienne the perilla leaves. If you dislike perilla leaves, you can skip this step.
Prepare the seasoning by mixing red pepper powder, gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, plum extract, minced garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Heat 2 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry the prepared vegetables.
Once the carrots turn slightly golden, add the sundae, rice cakes, and the prepared seasoning. Stir-fry everything together.
Top the stir-fried sundae with julienned perilla leaves and sprinkle sesame seeds. Serve hot.
