- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Wash the eggplants thoroughly and select firm, deep purple ones.
Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise and score the flesh in a honeycomb pattern without cutting too deep.
Prepare the sauce by mixing gochujang, minced garlic, sugar, corn syrup, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Heat a pan over low heat and add a small amount of sesame oil. Lightly pan-fry the eggplants until they are slightly softened.
Brush the prepared sauce gently over the cooked eggplant flesh.
Flip the eggplants and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on low heat to allow the sauce to absorb.
Serve the eggplants on a plate. Optionally, pair with rice for a complete meal.
