- 🦪 200g clams (purged)
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/4 cabbage (300g)
- 100g nanohana (rapeseed blossoms)
- 🧅 5cm white part of leek
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Broth Ingredients
- 💧 200cc water
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧂 a pinch of salt
ÉTAPES
Scrub the clams to clean their shells.
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, trim nanohana into 5cm lengths, and mince the leek.
Mix minced leek with the sauce ingredients in a bowl to create leek sauce.
Heat the broth ingredients in a pan until boiling, then add cabbage and cover. Steam for 2 minutes on medium-low heat.
Push cabbage to the side, add clams and nanohana, cover, and simmer for 3–4 minutes until clams open.
Serve in a dish and drizzle with leek sauce.
