- 🦑 200g squid rings
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🥛 2 tbsp milk
- 🌾 40g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
Coating
- 🌾 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

- Enough vegetable oil for frying

- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
ÉTAPES
Pat the squid rings dry with a paper towel and coat them evenly with 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour.
In a bowl, mix the egg, milk, 40g of all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to create the fritter batter.
Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 170°C (about 2cm deep). Dip the squid rings into the batter and fry for about 2 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
Serve the squid fritters on a plate with ketchup on the side.
