Seafood
- 🦑 90g frozen cut squid
Vegetables
- 🌱 2 spears asparagus, sliced
- 1 piece ginger, minced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
- 🧅 1/3 stalk green onion, chopped
Egg
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
Seasoning
- Cornstarch as needed
- 3 1/3 tbsp sesame oil
- 💧 100cc water
Sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chili bean paste
Thickener
- 💧 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
ÉTAPES
Defrost squid in water, drain, and coat with cornstarch.
Slice asparagus diagonally and mince ginger, garlic, and green onion.
Mix sauce ingredients in a container and beat the egg in another container.
Heat 3 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, add squid, cook without stirring too much, and remove once cooked.
Add remaining sesame oil to the pan and sauté garlic, ginger, and asparagus.
Add sauce mixture and water, bring to a boil, and thicken with cornstarch slurry.
Increase heat, add beaten egg, return squid to the pan, and mix in green onion before serving.
