Prepare 200g of fish cake and blanch in boiling water for 20 seconds to remove excess oil.

Slice 100g onion into 1cm thick strips and chop 20g green onion finely.

Mix all seasoning ingredients (soy sauce, mirin, sugar) until sugar dissolves completely. Microwave for 20 seconds if needed.

Heat 3 tbsp cooking oil in a pan over low heat. Add 1 tbsp minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and slightly transparent.

Add chopped green onion and sauté until garlic turns golden brown.

Add sliced onion and continue sautéing on low heat until onions turn golden brown, approximately 4 minutes.

Pour the prepared seasoning into the pan and stir for 30 seconds on low heat.

Add the blanched fish cake and increase the heat to high. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.

Add 2 tbsp corn syrup and stir-fry for another 10–20 seconds.
