- 180g ground meat
Vegetables
- 6 okra pods
- 🥔 1 potato (240g)
Oil and Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Trim the ends of the okra and remove the calyx. Rub with 1/2 tsp salt, rinse under water, and pat dry. Cut into diagonal quarters. Peel and cut the potato into quarter slices, then slice into 5mm thick pieces. Soak in water for 5 minutes, drain, and microwave for 3 minutes at 600W. Drain again.
In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, miso, and sesame seeds) until well combined.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the ground meat and grated garlic, and stir-fry until the meat changes color.
Add the okra and potato to the pan and stir-fry until the okra becomes tender. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir-fry until everything is well coated.
