- 🦑 1 medium squid
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 green onion
- 🥕 1/3 carrot
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🥬 1 handful cabbage
- 1-2 chili peppers
Condiments
- 🧂 1-2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3-4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- A pinch of black pepper
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup water
ÉTAPES
Prepare all the ingredients.
Clean the squid by removing the innards, eyes, and beak, then wash thoroughly. Score the squid for better texture and appearance.
Slice the vegetables into appropriate sizes.
Heat a pan and add vegetable oil. Stir-fry chopped green onion to create green onion oil.
Add squid and sugar to the pan and stir-fry.
Add the seasoning ingredients (soy sauce, gochujang, red pepper flakes, garlic, black pepper, and water) and stir well.
Once the squid is seasoned, add onion, carrot, and chili peppers. Stir-fry until slightly softened, then add cabbage.
Finish by adding sesame oil and stir well.
Plate the stir-fried squid attractively and serve.
