INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 300g ground chicken (thigh)
- 🧀 2 sticks string cheese
- 🧅 3 stalks chopped green onion
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
Meat Mixture Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- Pinch of pepper
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the string cheese in half lengthwise and skewer each piece with two bamboo sticks.
In a bowl, mix ground chicken and the meat mixture seasonings until sticky. Add chopped green onion and mix well. Divide into 4 portions.
Flatten each portion of the meat mixture and wrap it around the skewered cheese. Repeat for all 4 skewers.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the skewers and cook until browned. Flip, cover with a lid, and steam-cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
Wipe off excess oil with a paper towel, add the sauce ingredients, and simmer until glossy and well-coated.
