INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🧈 300g tofu
- 🧅 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 green chili, sliced
- 🧅 A small amount of spring onion, chopped
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
ÉTAPES
Pat dry the tofu with a kitchen towel and slice it thickly. Optionally, cut the slices in half.
Chop the spring onion finely, and slice the red and green chilies into thin strips. Slice the onion thinly as well.
Mix the seasoning ingredients: soy sauce, sesame oil, water, chili powder, and minced garlic. Combine with the chopped vegetables.
Heat a pan with a small amount of olive oil over low heat. Fry the tofu until golden brown on one side, then flip and fry the other side until crispy.
In another pan, heat olive oil and sauté the sliced onion until caramelized. If using the same pan, temporarily remove the tofu and sauté the onion.
Spread the prepared seasoning mixture evenly over the fried tofu. Simmer on low heat until the tofu absorbs the flavors.
Plate the tofu and garnish with the sautéed onions. Serve warm.
