INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 250g warm cooked rice
Seaweed
- 🟩 1 sheet nori
Fish
- 🐟 7 slices smoked salmon
Vegetables
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 🥬 1 leaf lettuce
- 🍅 2 cherry tomatoes
Seasoning
- 🍶 1.5 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
Potatoes
- 🥔 200g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 1/2 tsp consomme powder
- 🥫 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 🥛 4 tbsp milk
ÉTAPES
Cut potatoes into 2cm cubes, rinse in water, and drain. Microwave in a covered container for 5 minutes at 600W. Mash while hot.
Mix mashed potatoes with salt, butter, consomme, and mayonnaise. Reserve a small portion for tomato decoration. Add milk and mix until smooth.
Combine vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Mix warm rice with the vinegar mixture and let it cool slightly.
Spread rice onto nori sheet, add smoked salmon, bell pepper slices, and lettuce, then roll tightly.
Cut one end of the roll diagonally for chimney decoration.
Spread mashed potatoes around the sushi roll and chimney piece. Use a fork to create texture resembling wood grain.
Prepare tomato decorations by cutting cherry tomatoes and filling them with reserved mashed potatoes. Add sesame seeds and ketchup for facial details.
