- 🥓 6 slices bacon
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🍚 1 serving cooked rice
Sauce
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
ÉTAPES
Slice the onion into thin strips and cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan over medium heat with a small amount of cooking oil. Add the bacon and stir-fry for a few minutes.
Add the sliced onion to the pan and continue stir-frying until the onion softens slightly.
Pour the prepared sauce (soy sauce, sugar, mirin, minced garlic, and oyster sauce) into the pan and simmer until the mixture thickens slightly.
Serve the cooked bacon and onion mixture over a bowl of hot rice. Optionally, top with an egg yolk for added richness.
