- 150g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🥔 300g new potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 70g snap peas, trimmed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 300ml water
ÉTAPES
Peel and chop the new potatoes into bite-sized pieces, then soak them in water to remove excess starch. Trim the snap peas.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the pork and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until cooked. Add the potatoes and stir until coated with oil. Add the seasoning mixture (mirin, sugar, dashi powder, and water) and bring to a boil. Cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Add soy sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat. Add the snap peas, cover, and cook for 1 minute.
