- 🥡 200g tofu
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 💧 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Wash the tofu under running water and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Spread 3 tbsp of cornstarch on a wide plate or use a ziplock bag to coat the tofu evenly.
Dust off excess cornstarch to prevent uneven texture after frying.
Heat a pan with cooking oil and fry the tofu until golden and crispy.
Place the fried tofu on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Combine sauce ingredients in a pan and cook until the garlic is fragrant and the sauce thickens.
Turn off the heat and mix the fried tofu with the sauce until evenly coated.
Sprinkle sesame seeds or crushed peanuts as garnish before serving.
