INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 1.5 cups soaked rice
- 💧 Water as needed
Shirataki
- 1 bag shirataki (pre-boiled)
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
Meat
- 150g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/3 carrot, thinly sliced
- 🍄 2 shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 🧅 Chopped green onion as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Finely chop the shirataki. Slice the carrot into thin pieces and the shiitake mushrooms into thin slices. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan over medium heat and stir-fry the chopped shirataki for about 5 minutes.
Add 1/2 tbsp soy sauce to the shirataki and continue stir-frying.
In a rice cooker, add the soaked rice, seasonings (sake, sugar, soy sauce, dashi powder, ginger), and water up to the 1.5-cup mark.
Spread the stir-fried shirataki, pork, carrot, and shiitake mushrooms over the rice mixture in the rice cooker.
Cook the rice as usual in the rice cooker.
Once cooked, mix the rice gently, serve in bowls, and garnish with chopped green onions.
